The Weight Loss laboratory test package is designed for anyone who has decided to tackle excess weight or obesity and lose weight.
The laboratory tests included in this package will provide important baseline information about your state of health, thereby establishing a starting point for long-term monitoring.

The package has been put together by a medical team at Interklinik and focuses on weight loss and metabolic parameters. The test results will provide basic information on how your kidneys and liver are functioning. Should you decide to undertake a weight-loss programme under a doctor’s supervision, the results of these tests will help them tailor your weight-loss plan to ensure it is both effective and safe.
The package also includes tests designed to detect hormonal disorders that may negatively affect the success of weight loss, such as reduced thyroid function. It will help identify metabolic abnormalities, such as insulin resistance, which also negatively affects weight loss. During weight loss, cholesterol and blood sugar levels naturally decrease and stabilise. Testing for these parameters is also included in the package. This will allow baseline values to be compared with subsequent readings, which will support the success of the weight loss programme.

The consultation itself includes an assessment of your health and test results, an ECG, measurements, the formulation of a suitable treatment plan, and nutritional guidance for managing excess weight.

What is the preparation before blood collection?
You should arrive for your blood collection in the morning and on an empty stomach. It is also recommended to drink water before the blood collection. How can I pay for the collection?
The payment is always made online via Unilabs Online. After entering your details, you will be redirected to the payment gateway, where you can confirm the payment with just a few clicks, and within a few minutes, you can proceed to your examination. You can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or online card payment.
When will I know the results of the laboratory tests?
We will notify you immediately after the results are available in your account by email and possibly by text message, if you have a mobile phone number connected to your account.
